Have you forgotten me?

Have you forgotten me?
Have you forgotten my essence?
Without a first thought
Or even a second question
I am now only a memory
Never to be experienced by any
I know this may seem silly
But have you forgotten me?


I returned to you in disguise
Only to see if maybe you would remember me
simply by looking into my eyes
I told you before That I would always survive
Because the love we shared
Would promise me eternal life
But now it seems clear to me
I am no longer a memory
Have you forgotten me?


All of our truest memories
Hidden deep within our unity
A place where time had no place
But Now it seems time is our enemy
Now I’m racing to see if maybe
you would still be there
if maybe you would still care
But now it seems there is no place for me
Now my only question is
have you forgotten me?


Under the moon our first kiss
Under the influence of each other’s essence
A timeless affair we promised to never forget
Because in that moment we knew
This moment could never be replicated
But now my only question
After that time has faded is
Have you forgotten me?
